Kovasovic's Country Store — Local services in Caldwell

I’m gonna let you guys in on a secret. Kovasovic’s has these ribeye steaks that they season with something red and peppery. Do yourself a favor and buy one or more, grill it to your liking, and wait for that first bite. It’s so darn good it would turn a vegan.

The meat is all locally sourced and you can taste that in the richness and freshness of their offerings. There is a reasonably stocked grocery section where you can actually eat healthy if you’re picking right. They have other goodies in the freezer case that are local, like their egg rolls which were amazing. We were heading out of the state park to go to Brookshire Bros grocery for a few items, including a nice steak. Sign at Park Rd 59 and FM60 said Meat Market 2 miles that-a-way. So, here we are! Exterior is not real exciting, but step on inside to the meat counter and begin salivating! Beautiful meats! Friendly and helpful staff, too. You can't find a place with the quality of meat at a price that's more than reasonable and friendly helpful employees I personally recomend the grilling chops I usually get 2 1" thick chops for a little over $3 and if you want the best hang down to ever tickle your taste buds you best get a pound or two jalapeno and pepper Jack cheese will surely please.
