This is kind of long. Bear with me: So, a year ago +/- I left a Google review and had said I was disappointed in the lack of quality, since the current manager or owner had taken over. (I have since found out her name is Gina Bicandi) Prior to her taking over, employees were constantly sorting through the produce and pulling the bad ones. I recently made the same type of comment on a local Facebook page. Today, while shopping there, Gina came up and asked if I was finding what I need...told her I was. She then said the guys were out picking more peppers(and her tone became pretty snotty) "because the quality has gone down hill since I took over" Took a second for it to click but then she said " I'm being sarcastic, JENNIFER!" Apparently she's had employees watching for my name on the credit card reader, so she'd know who I am. Any how.... I politely told her that. "well... It has. Employees used to sort through produce" She responded that she had way more customers, fewer employees and something about being short on pickers. If her goal was to lose a few customers, she succeeded. I know at least 5 people, other than myself, who will not be shopping there again. She has a very bad attitude, so I am sure she doesn't care about a small handful of customers. She needs to learn to take the bad reviews with the good, without lambasting a customer, for stating their view on her...
Read moreDisappointed. Going up to the cash register and they had to weigh the box. Nowhere it says 26 pounds per box. Cash register person that says people add to the boxes. Of course people take out peaches when they’re not buying a whole box so of course you’re gonna add back Some. We’re not there too rip people off just to get a share amount that was told that was $29 a box. I have a business and I would never Treat a customer like that. Now, after thought somebody was watching a lady when we were leaving and picked us out of the group. Even says on the receipt, a box. Not 26 pounds. And when you’re buying a box, I’m sure four or five peaches are bruised. Just very disappointed that you have somebody looking over your shoulder every minute. The second and third pictures are mine the other is from their ads and...
Read moreETA I was screamed at for touching your fruit! There is a polite way to ask your customers. I guess you are justifying the way I was treated. Remember when this boyfriend, not employee, screams at people, 10 other customers hear. You are thought of as a "fighting" company vs. the customer is allows right.
Went to Lakeview fruit last week. My aunt and I were standing there discussing the peaches. I did touch the peach, my aunt was holding. Some man came up and yelled at us, like 2 year olds, for mishandling the fruit. He was very rude and condescending. When I asked the cashier who he was, I was told he was the husband/boyfriend of an employee. Pretty embarrassing that you would allow an employee's significant other to be so disrespectful to...
