Lancaster Place Apartments — Local services in Calera

So much to say where do I start. You pay for trash service and they barely pick up your trash. Next you pay for pest control but bugs are all over the place. Then when you request maintenance they come when ever they feel like it no rush to help. The apartment above me flooded into my laundry room causing leakage into my circuit breaker. And to fix that they dried it out with a fan. Mold has started to grow in the laundry room I told them and as usual nothing was done. I had 2 floods and now my apartment smells like sweaty gym shoes. The worst part is the college boys that moved in. The college boys are loud, rude, inappropriate with 13 year old girls, they never go to bed keep up working people. When we asked to break the lease for all these reasons we were told we would have to pay. My daughter bike was recently stolen right off our patio I walked around the complex and there it was laying in someone else's yard. You pay all this money to be uncomfortable and forced to stay because they make it impossible to afford to move. I wouldn't advise any hard working family to live here. Living here is like a fraternity house. Worst place I've ever lived. Oh and let me not forget to mention they barely answer the phone. You have to go to the office and they are just sitting there so why wasn't the phone...

I stayed there in 2015. The only thing I can say negative about my stay is, I didnt feel safe most ot the time when I left my apartment. Other than that I had a great stay. It is near everything. I played around with the staff and manager who was very to me. I must give the two men, cant remember their names, who kept the apts in good repairs a raise. Thanks for keeping my apartment in good shape. If I had a complaint, never had too wait hours or day for you guys. My hat off to you, because I dont know how the owner or owners expect two person to take care of such a large amount of apartment that you have. If several apartment are flood, refrid out, air cond, out stove dont work, etc How are they to be there on time for all the people. Some people are not willing to wait when things stop working. I suggest you hire more laborer when you are booked up and let some take time off when things are slow. Dont you care about letting your guest suffer like they do, so they have to write such bad things about. Just hoping you stay in business. The place was in good shape when I was there. Disgusting apartments. Absolutely no handicap availability at all. Management is rude, to the point where someone has even called the police on their behavior. the maintenance does not notify you in advance that they will come into your apartment, They have come into the apartment and didn't even knock while tenant is home and caused scares. When they fix something it's never fixed. they require extra fees for no reason as in valet trash even though there is a dumpster on site. A disabled widow had to leave the property due to the fact that the building is not handicap accessible and gave a 30 day notice. Since she was not able to give a 60 days notice they decide to give her a 10 day eviction notice after the conversation of her leaving. Even with medical documentation. Loud tenants that management does not address. it has been seen where a first floor tenant tried to get into a second floor tenants apartment unlawfully by climbing up through the patio to the 2nd floor. Cars get stolen and robbed frequently. The apartments are not updated. Not worth your time. Too expensive and you could get...
