A great location. When I realized the time frame for fresh garden tomatoes was coming to an end soon, I desperately needed a BLT sandwich with thick bacon, a bit of lettuce and two slices of tomato. It was mid-morning and Labor day. I thought the farmer's market downtown wouldn't be operating but, I Googled it anyway. B & M Farms came up as open so I traveled the 15 miles and they were open! I was so excited when I saw a 'home grown' tomatoes sign. I also bought a flat of eggs for $10.00 (30), baking potatoes, sweet potatoes, Vidalia onions and fresh juicy peaches. (the kind of peach that the juice runs down your face) The owners were very friendly, the prices were less than any grocer and the produce was delicious. My husband and I had BLTs for lunch and thick sliced tomatoes as a side dish for dinner. Perfect! If you live in the area or are traveling I-75 near Calhoun, Ga., please go by B&M farms. The produce is fresh and the flowers grown in the garden are beautiful as well. I bought a quart of blackberries for $8! The quality and prices are both really good!
