Worst round of my life. Got approved to buy a home in the subdivision the night before so I went to play the course to see if I liked the area before I signed on the home. I was playing the round by myself and they double booked the tee time so I decided to play with the 2 men that where booked 4min apart from me. These other 2 guys agreed to just play with me and all was well. My tee time was 9:20 and their time was 9:24. We made it to hole 7 and I was waiting on the other gentleman to hit and one of the workers approached me telling me that I could not play with a party of 5... we were not a party of 5 and to be frank, we didnt even know each other we agreed to play together due to the course workers booking to many tee times back to back. I told the guy who works inside that I was about to sign on the home in the neighborhood and that I now will not buy the home because the workers in Fields Ferry were so RUDE to me. I was going to post their course on my golf based youtube channel for GOOD publicity but now I will not be adding them to my channel, due to the fact that I would NEVER recommend my followers to Fields Ferry. You lost a lot of potential members due do what you did today, maybe take into consideration next time that youtubers do come to your course to...
Read moreI am sorry to see some negative comments about this course. Our experience today could not have been better. The staff was friendly; we were never 'hassled' by any staff or Rangers during the entire 18 holes. The course was in beautiful shape and was very well maintained from tee boxes to fairways to roughs to greens. The greens and fairways were in perfect shape!! The mowing of the course is well done.! (I know because I worked for a course!). Nowhere was there any garbage around the course.....only 2 cigarette butts!!!! Only 2 suggestions: make sure maintenance has all the sand bottles filled before letting a cart go out; and have a 'Cart Girl' out on the course. I would highly recommend this course to any golfers with a 25 handicap or less. Challenging for the low handicappers and yet forgiving for the higher handicappers. This is not a course for beginners. This course is far more reasonably priced than the Fairways of Canton and is certainly 10 times in better shape. Fairways of Canton may have better views, but certainly is not a course that is maintained as well as Fields Ferry Golf Club. Fields Ferry Golf Club deserves its standing in Golf Digest's 'Best Places to...
