I stopped at this "convenience store" to get gas while on a long road trip from TX to NC. My journey brought me through here as I wanted to drive the Cherohala Skyway. The two local fellers I chatted with while pumping gas were friendly. I was quite disappointed to get off the interstate and discover that this location does not have a restroom, for paying customers or otherwise. They do serve food and have tables to sit down and eat your meal, mind you. To the owner/manager: even if you had to rent Port-a-johns that required a key to get into, it would be better than telling weary travelers you don't have facilities. I have been in thousands and thousands of little convenience stores like these through the very rare that you get repeat dis appointment. I highly suggest that if you want to be conservative with your money, do not stop no matter how cordial you are. They will always try to mark up the prices. I won't be stopping there again and there food is at best Mediocre. Not to mention his state law in the state of Tennessee.If you serve food you should have a place to wash your hands and a restroom.This place doesn't even offer that. Stopped in today to get my niece an ice cream. First of all we stood there while the two employees gossiped with a costumer and then the hateful lady was complaining about it before she even started dipping. She continued to complain because it was frozen to hard. Finally I had enough complaining from her so I told her we didn't want it and walked out.
