Edit Nov 2020 Have just about everything below is still accurate this gym is still small especially due to the circumstances and being a remote location this gym should be at least twice if not three times larger. I have been going to the gym every week day at 0500 to 0610 and for the first 20 min there are about 5 or so people in the weight tent then as time goes on it gets more and more crowded not as much as pre-covid. I will go up a star because most of the equipment has been replaced with newer machines.
Best gym within 13 miles, Pretty bad gym especially considering the location circumstances. I have seen a few gyms and by far this one is the worst Tyndall, Savannah, Nellis, Keesler, Ft Worth, Eglin, and Sheppard. I am sure everyone knows this but there have been problems getting upgrades and funding. I am sure one day this gym will be one of the best once everything lines up.
When this gym has minimal people then this gym has everything you need when it comes to free weights. The machines are in a small room and like I said if there it no one there then it is more pleasurable to use. When there is more than 4 people in that room it becomes crowded and confusing not knowing what will be available/used next.
There is no shortage of cardio machines but during peak hours you might have to play rock paper scissors. Don't get my wrong I utilize it but...well ya... I am going to be honest this is a below average gym few choices for weight machines but on the other hand there are a lot of free weights in the tent at the entrance of the gym. This gym is crowded at most times and that is when most of the weights are taken and it is near impossible to work out. In my opinion the gyms that I have gone too are better All this gyms needs is a remodel then I am sure it...

The free weight tent is amazing: 3 deadlift pads, 2 squat racks, and 2 flat benches for those of you trying to make the 1000 lb club. 4x dumbbells of each weight from 5lb to ~120lb. As with most gyms, it can be a bit crowded during lunch time and from 1600 to 1830. Additionally, there is a lot of cross fit/Ninja warrior stuff out by the track. I think this gym is comparable to Andersen's but is second to Eielson...
