Parked right off Wendy near the church - start 5am - end 10:30ish - about 9miles -rested only 45min total during hike - pretty strenuous, I am a pretty strong hiker but man it was about 60-65% uphill - tip: wear pants and long sleeves! The trail is not kept and you are constantly brushing up against thick brush, trail to the peak is near the chimney, not Danielson monument I loved this hike. Worth it. Do it early so you aren’t burnt at the end. We legit were the only ones on the trail.

Great trail and not many people . The wildflowers were spectacular. It would be difficult without hiking poles as there are some ravines close to the top which are steeper with lots of loose rocks. Wear long sleeves and long pants - this trail was not well maintained as far as controlling vegetation is concerned closer to the top - our group had many scratches on legs and arms. Wonderful hike and stunning views

A monster of a hike right in our backyard! Difficult, treacherous, worth it! About 9 mile round trip! Get ready for a test of glute pumping, calve ripping, quad burning action! Hard but awesome at the peak!
