CA-4 Old River Bridge — Local services in California

When I was younger I loved to drive 18 wheelers across this bridge. As you went up the ramp from the polder one had to make sure there wasn't another 18 wheeler coming the other way. If there was, one had to stop before the turn. When making the turn both sides of the roadway is used by an 18 wheeler. This was my route pulling sugar from C&H in Crockett. I will never forget this bridge no matter how long it's been. I haven't driven across it in over 10 years and I'm still terrified 🤣. Definitely do the speed limit and remember that corner at the end...
