Great wine complimented by a great atmosphere. We stopped here based on the Google reviews (I was picking the vineyards and in a rush) and didn't know if it would live up to the rating. It did and then some. The setup is nice, with an indoor tasting bar and a nice outside patio with a view of the lake and surrounding hills. For the golfers out there (which isn't me unfortunately), there's a nice little mini-driving range with a club or two and a few balls available. There was also a friendly cat and dog that contributed to the laid back atmosphere. It was certainly more approachable and casual than the wine tasting rooms further south on 29, but it still had the classy feel that a good tasting room should have. The owner was friendly and clearly proud of his property and wine. Speaking of which, the wind was delightful. We took home two vintages of the Pinot Noir, and there were several other wines that we really enjoyed. I've enjoyed one of the Pinot's since the visit, and it was just as good as I had remembered. Second, the tasting even had a couple of additional wines not on the list. We bought a bottle of one of those non listed wines so it worked! Third, the co-founder spent time with us and shared and was an absolute delight to hear the story of the history of the place. What is amazing is that all this happened right before their big event for their wine club members. A day one would think would be hectic and we would expect to not get as much service or time but all was unhurried and wonderful. The deck offered a wonderful view of their property and the vines. They offer what look like some wonderful charcuterie boards that I think would be spectacular. They also have a gazebo in the hills that you can reserve for two hour blocks and they drive you to it. We enjoyed the wine and the experience...

You walked in and immediately felt like family. The vineyard is beautiful with a cozy tasting room, beautiful back porch, and nice music playing all overlooking a pond...
