The game selection is extremely limited and the pay back percentage was tight. Biggest hit my between my wife and I was a hit for $8. Most hits were for under a dollar, 20+ spins in a row hit nothing several times over, and the higher the wager the less likely it seemed to hit. You would think with such limited floor space they would want to maximize their game variety. Nope. It felt like the games they had were all the same styled older slots, and in multiples of literally the same game. My wife and I experienced the worst customer treatment we have ever experienced at a casino, if you can even call it that. The staff treat players as if they are not wanted and will be removed if they don't follow strict guidelines to earn their permission to play. Rather than ensuring their customers have a pleasurable experience at their casino, they hover over you and watch you, going out of their way to ensure you feel security's constant presence. My wife and I gambled about $120 or $60 each, winning small amounts here and there, but eventually lost after about 3-4 hrs of playing. We left the gaming floor and purchased chips and salsa to snack on while we sat at a table just outside of bar area where we would see our ride when they pulled up. Mind you there was a snow storm outside and it was extremely cold. No more than 5mins go by before a security guard approaches us and questions us about whether or not we will continue to gamble. We answered we lost our money and were just waiting for out ride. The security guard then informed us that if we were not playing we needed to leave. Shocked, we explained we had just finished playing and were enjoying a snack we had purchased while we waited for our ride, and reminded him that it was freezing cold and storming outside. His response was "do you have a dollar you can go put in a machine and play because if you are not playing, you are loitering, and I have to ask you to leave." We were in disbelief. I responded saying we would not be playing another dollar and that it was morally wrong to harass players while they were consuming their purchased food and force them to wait outside in a snowstorm when they had done nothing wrong. He didn't care and my wife and I were forced to leave our unfinished chips and salsa inside while we were forced outside in the freezing cold. For the first and only time ever, my wife and I felt like we were treated as horrible as we were simply because we were not local and because we were not of Native American descent. It was hands down the worst...
Read moreI'm only giving pit river casino 3 stars due to the actions of just ONE employee. Saturday the 30th my girlfriend and I went to Burney for a nice hike at the falls, get some great food all before we get to pit river casino. This is a very small casino and i do mean small. The security takes our temperature before entering the casino, my girlfriend was kinda wearing her mask, I myself am not. Before we got all the way inside they inform us that we need to get a club card for cleaning purposes. So we head to the club desk and the lady was out cleaning machines ( I realized wish I had gotten her name, she was an extremely polite employee, knowledgeable, funny an all round joy to talk to. ) we both get our cards informed that the cards will turn off machines next to us while playing and would then turn off the one I was playing as some as I was done and the others ones come back on. Ok back to the point we have now been there 20 minutes still not wearing a mask, one I found my girlfriend and I was seen not wearing a mask, I was informed that I must wear a mask ( ok ) the security guard then seemed to be stalking my girlfriend and myself to make sure we were wearing our mask, whether we were smoking or drinking we had to replace our mask. It only took about 10 minutes of his harassment before we both decided to head home. We will probably...
Read moreWorst Dining Experience Ever – Incredibly Rude and Unprofessional!
I took my family to this casino diner after a long day, and it was a disaster from start to finish. First, the security guard made a big deal about where I parked, even though it was just a dirt lot. Then, once inside, we were hassled about IDs even though we were just there to order food to go. The security staff kept approaching us, making us move around and insisting we couldn’t wait in certain areas, even though we were just waiting for our food.
After waiting almost an hour, I walked back in to check on the food, I asked about our order and was told it would be another ten minutes. Meanwhile, the security staff continued to harass us, even accusing me of leaving minors unattended in the car, which wasn’t true. (My daughter is 18 almost 19) By the time I finally had enough and asked for a refund, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. I even had to ask for my tip back because the service was that terrible.
To top it all off, by the time we left, the other restaurant option in town had closed, leaving us with no food after waiting all that time. Absolutely unacceptable! I will never be coming...
