Fern Prairie Grange — Local services in Camas

The worst experience we’ve had with a rental and we’ve rented a lot of granges elsewhere. During our event we had to reach out to Shannon because the bathrooms were flooding and the men’s wouldn’t flush. We had to put a bag over it so that no one would use it. But in the women’s the water also kept coming out we decided to call Shannon to let her know what the problem had been because we didn’t want to later be blamed for this since it had been happening since we arrived. She came out to clean up and at the moment didn’t know what the issue was either but she did mention it might have been something in between the bathrooms. After our event was over we txted her to let her know we were about to head out she arrived and looked at the lower part and then came up stairs. As we finished mopping the upper floor she was pointing out specific places to mop as we mopped that moment. We asked SEVERAL times if there was anything else that we had missed but she didn’t say anything. There was a spot on the upper carpet that we left a stain but that was everything and we take responsibility for that . The kitchen was left spotless and the restrooms were also left really clean. We didn’t get a call until 4 WEEKS later that there was a lot of issues and stuff was missing. She assumed that we had took some musical instruments when no one was up in that area where the drums were at. She had other events in those 4 weeks and still assumes that it was us that took them. When she called us about the issues she said the other event had told her that the sink and dishes were left in the sink. Again this is really unprofessional because she doesn’t know but is going by what the other event told her. The issues should of been brought up as soon as she went back to the granger before she rented it out again. When we have rented granges in the past they call us within 72hrs to a week to let us know about issues and return deposit. But this didn’t happen and this raises a red flag as a renter that things could have been handled in a more professional way. Just like they trust the ones that are renting out the grange with making sure the garbage is kept well put together. The renters also trust that deposits should be given back in a fair way.
