We had a fantastic experience working with AJ. We described what we were looking for, found the perfect piece of wood in his shop, and picked it up the following week and it looked beautiful in its finished form. It is the perfect desk for both of us to be working remotely from, and we were excited to have a unique piece and support local businesses. We felt price was extremely fair. And finally we had a great conversation with AJ and his wife, who helped us get connected for my wife’s career as well as we are new to the area! Extremely friendly and neighborly, leaving us with a great feeling that we were supporting their business.

AJ is great to work with. The finished product he produces is exceptional and the process from beginning to end is as smooth as it can be when trying to create something unique by hand from a slab of wood. He is passionate about his craft and will spend a lot of time with you at the beginning so that you can understand your options and get a good sense of the overall process. He will provide status updates along the way so that you can see project come together. For high end custom work, pricing was fair (most of the cost of the project was from raw materials (primarily the wood slab)). I highly recommend...

I had been hunting for a nice slab to turn into a live edge desk to round out my office. After striking out, I stumbled upon NW Wood Creations, and I'm glad I did. AJ listened to everything I wanted to see in my desk while talking over a slab we didn't end up using, then he found a slab that fit my desires, and fabricated one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture I have ever laid my eyes on. Seriously, this thing is going to be passed on to my kids it's that beautiful.
