I just made my first car purchase here yesterday and it was such a great experience! I had a deer collision accident which left me without my first car (I finished paying off and received from my mom in high school) right before my spring semester of college started. It was awful timing to have a car totaled out and be without my own vehicle. Car hunting was miserable the weeks previous to making it out to Lawrence's Auto Clinic & Sales. I had found my "perfect" car online through CARFAX and couldn't figure out who the seller was because they didn't have that information listed. After finding car after car (some 10 minutes away others hours out of town) and it being sold before I could get to the lot or call to inquire or even test drive it, I was getting discouraged. I finally figured out my "perfect" car was only 15 minutes away Lawrence's! I called to see if the car I wanted was still available and got ahold of Brent; with only an hour before closing, he said to "come on out anyways!" I got there and the car was already pulled up front and ready for me to test drive! It drove so smooth and practically looked like new! I fell in love within minutes compared to my other experiences test driving and inspecting only to still feel hesitant. Wes and Brent were wonderful and gave me their honest opinion on it's maintenance/quality/durability. I was only there an hour and out the door with my new car! Thank you so much fellas!! I will surely be going back there and recommending to friends if/when they're in need of a car. I'm also going to start regularly going there for maintenance and oil changes/tire rotations because I truly feel they are trustworthy compared to other places around SoIL and they already know my car! So I got my car here I believe at the end of January. But it took all day to get it off the lot, and I now feel I probably should have chosen a different car that day. For starters, the test drive went well. The car worked fine. After buying it, I didn't even make it to the high way before it broke down, with the transmission hose falling off. Very thankful I was halfway home on the high way. After we got done pushing it as far as with could with my mother's car, it took the auto clinic a few hours to fix the issue (putting the hose on and refilling the transmission fluid). This isn't me attacking the shop, because they handled the situation well and were extremely professional. But this was an issue that I feel was somewhat tied...

I know someone who bought a car cheap here and it didn't even make it two miles away before it started smoking. He left it parked on the side of the road and left to get tools and such and when he returned a fire truck and a police car were there. The front of car was totally melted and was cut by firefighters. They said it was on fire. He ended up calling his insurance company who in turn forced the dealer to refund all money back for the car bought here. Stay away from here and...
