If there was a "no star" option, I'd give it. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the place was that the place reeked of cigarettes. So we figured that we wouldn't be buying anything there. But out of curiosity we decided to look around anyway just to see what they had. Maybe we could buy something that you can wash the smoke off of. As we continue to walk around nobody came out to greet us. When I reach the back I saw a large room with more antiques everywhere and a woman sitting behind a velvet rope barrier sitting at a computer, who didn't even acknowledge me until I said hi. So I said to her, " I assume that nothing behind this rope is for sale?" And she rudely said,"NO, this is where we live." Then I said to her "how cool it must be to live in an antique store". All she said was, "yep", without even taking her eyes off the screen. We just turned around and headed back out the door and my husband said "Well if you expect to sell anything you might want to be nicer to your customers, just saying!" So unless your a smoker or you want to buy stinky antiques and walk out smelling like an ashyray, I wouldn't waste my time...

The place is packed with original counters, original country store showcases full of original products .. an awesome drugstore fountain back bar with stained glass... And so much more to appreciate. Ray and his wife are great people and very interesting to talk with, very knowledgeable about what they sell.
So if you are ever in Irish Hills, they are right off of U.S 12, can't miss it, well worth the stop to see some...
