Unsafe lift was rented to us. We got the 45' Genie. The bucket really rattled around, which we eventually realized was due to old bolts with at least a quarter inch gap of play between the nuts and the bucket (of which four of these are what holds the bucket to the arm). Sleeves in the hydraulic arm were worn out as there was a LOT of play in that joint.

You expect the thing to move and sway and rock, but as ONE unit, not everything rattling independently!

We used it carefully at eave level; we were under contract with a deadline to complete the job, but it was iffy from the start. Very scary, when up 18' sitting still and the bucket drops an inch downhill to the right, 3rd time and we were done!

Had to rent a new lift to finish the job.

Poor maintenance inspections/ upkeep in this case. Should not have been getting rented so make sure you inspect...

I have done business in other departments with no issues but the sales for zero turn mowers sucks at best. I was charged an extra $200 for using credit card, when came in week before never mentioned it. I paid $7,200 for my mower . The same salesman delivered my mower without even coming to the door to drop the key just left it parked in the driveway and peaced out, no overview or hand shake included. When I called to ask where key was, the salesman had the nerve to tell me I should have to come outside if I had any questions. As a women new to a zero turn I felt extremely disrespected, after spending all that money he could have gotten out to deliver manual to doormat guess...

I have purchased many pieces of equipment off DP- a 18 foot open trailer, 7x14 dump trailer and also two of there Lawnworld commerical grade mowers. All are very well built and worth the money spent. If your looking for a new piece of equipment give Bob a call or stop in and he'll get you...
