Newman Furniture Co of Camden — Local services in Camden

Purchased a set of mattresses from this store approx. 5 months ago. Big mistake. Mattress began to sink in the middle after approx. 2 1/2 months, and became uncomfortable. When I spoke with Management about the problem, they sent someone out to measure the depth of the sunken area and determined that it did not meet their criteria for any further review. Was very unconcerned and offered no further assistance other than told me to contact the mattress company (Serta) who in turn referred me right back to them. Very upset over this total waste of my hard earned money.

Brian, Yes, I did indeed felt the need to post a review, it being informative, not negative, as that was my experience with your store. Also, because what appears on your site is not an accurate depiction of the experience that I had with you. Sales 101 suggests that you not only sell your product, but you make sure that all supporting irems are in place to ensure the product performs as expected. Did you ask me what support system was already in place to be used with this purchase? NO. The previous mattress set that I had on this bed was over 15 years old and I NEVER had a problem of this nature. Please don't patronize me. You never asked because what I already had in place should have been sufficient if the mattress was any good. Again, within the first few months of purchase, the mattress began to sag, allbeit still under warranty. This place is easy to describe with one word, AMAZING!!!!! Seriously they are that good, not only do they ha e a great selection they have them in stock. You actually get to bring home what you bought, no waiting for them to order whatever you picked out.
