Love, Love, Love this store! Lots of great books, paintings, pictures, and souvenirs for everyone in the family! I recommend making a stop at this store before heading to AOA and Far West temple site. If you can help it, make this your first stop for North West Missouri early church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints touring. There’s great free information and more locations I didn’t even know about mapped out and explanations of each site. Employee that helped me was very knowledgeable about the area and had really great stories and recommendations for books. If there are hangry kids (or adults) don’t hesitate to grab some snacks, drinks, or even an ice cream treat! Items are very well priced and they have many used books that are worth the stop!

Cute little country store! Works as a great pitstop after visiting the far west temple site. There are tons of nice little trinkets and magnets and whatnot about far west, as well as some small snacks and drinks in case the kiddos are getting hangry. Overall it's a nice little place! The manager and his wife are a joy.

We need to thank Amanda from the bottom of our hearts! We were from out of town visiting the area and enjoyed the refreshing cold treats the store carried, which we shortly thereafter visited the temple site... my wife for the first time left her phone in the restroom there at the Far West visitors center on accident. We didn't realize this had happened until we were a good distance away. On a hope and a prayer, we called the store and Amanda answered and said she would go by the center to see if it was still there, and it was by some little miracle! Later that evening Amanda brought it our way and we were able to be reunited with all the irreplaceable pictures my wife keeps on her phone.

Amanda, thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help out where you saw a need! Thanks for going up and above in...

Felt compelled to visit this little store on our way to Nauvoo. So glad we stopped in! The gentlemen working there Wayne G. Was a wealth of knowledge and full of great stories that both inspired and in lightened us!!! I only wish we had planned more time to visit! We had to hurry to get to Nauvoo. We bought several books and pictures at great prices and the store had a beautiful spirit to it. I have a feeling it was due to Wayne working there. We own our own business and it’s hard to find outstanding employees. He deserves a raise! 😉 truly a must stop by and plan to stay and visit a bit. Trust me you...
