Dollar General — Local services in Camp Hill

What can c can I say"" I LOVE ME SOME DOLLAR GENERAL STORES!!! Yes I do. 😀 We recently had a couple of new ones open up on the lake. LAKE MARTIN, AL First new one to open wasin Jackson gap, Al about half way between Dadeville and Alexcity, Al ( our nearest Wal-Mart) it was awesome, so clean and neat and organized.. good sales prices, loved it, the next one was in Stillwaters,al, and Holiday shores/ pleasure point ( the home of " The World Famous" "RODEO CLUB") ON HWY 34.. SO ITS CALLED THE D.G. ON 34, LOVE IT TO!!! SAME thing to say about it...NEAT AND CLEAN AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE ON STAFF. THEN LOW AND BEHOLD I hear that they were putting one on hwy 50 in Walnut Hill.. I couldn't believe it after being in this area for over 20 years and didn't know what a dollar general was to having one within 5 miles of just about everywhere on the lake. Oh I was wrong the first one was in Camp Hill, Al ( that's where I live. The oldest one we have is in the outside heart of our town " Dadeville" it's over crowded, has to much stuff in it all the time. If I saw that store clean,neat and organized I'd literally would faint and fall out in the floor!!! But I love it.. especially if im not in a hurry and have as long as I want to. Yup love me some dollar...

The cashier Linda stayed on a personal call while checking people out......then had a rude customer defend her when i said something & as i left her friend/customer came back in the store so they could block actual shoppers from leaving just to chit chat. Probably the friendliest most knowledgeable staff of any Dollar General I have ever visited. They really just want to help you out. They always seem to have what you need, and if they don't they tell you where to get it. I can't recommend this place highly enough. This really is your...
