Geottls is the worst company that I've ever worked with, whereby they blew out the power in my kitchen and two bathrooms twice, while working in my power box without a license electrician, as well as, didn't fasten down the wires, nor did they put in the right amperage, so it almost burnt down the house according to a licensed electrician that I had to hire afterwards and that was just when installing the air conditioner. Then, they told me I needed a new heating system because my old one wasn't compatible with their air conditioner, which now I come to find out that I never needed it, as it was just a sales scam. After installing the new heater we had countless problems which led to a total of approximately 18 to 20 visits afterwards to try to fix. The first teeter had problems with a switcher inside and then it was decided that another switcher went bad as well. They then removed that heater and had to install a second heater which had two water leaks with several gallons of water that went out of the unit, due to them installing the wrong size tubing, as well as, they didn't insulate the water pipes that they ran up into the attic and outside to drain the condensation which froze, they had kinks in the hose prior to it going outside so the water backed up and it couldn't drain out and therefore it flowed back into the pump and burnt the pump out. backed up into the pump and burnt out. Then they found out they installed the wrong heater the second time and wanted to come back and and install a third one. But before they could do it we discovered that the head manager named Art lied to us and never followed through on any of their promises, so we sent them away. Obviously, they are the worst company that we have ever worked with and would warn anyone who's listening to this review to go to another company. Now we're forced to go to the R.O.C. and seek legal assistance in efforts to get our money back and get this broken heater out of here....

Rather than attempt to scam us and suggest our 1968 Lennox furnace demanded replacement, Rafael actually fixed it! He is of the utmost integrity, and demonstrated the highest level of customer service skills. He needs two promotions. Goettls has earned a new lifelong customer. I will recommend them without exception to anyone i know who needs HVAC repair. Thank you Rafael and Goettls!
June 2025 Gas Water Heater Installation. Brandon arrived on time and was a very friendly and experienced plumber. However, I immediately noticed his salesmanship and motivation to upsell me regarding what was needed. I was quoted nearly $4500 to purchase and install a new Bradford White 50-gallon gas water heater (6 month warranty), or $2200 to install a water heater that I purchase independently. I found both of those quotes to be excessively overpriced. I was also turned off by the 10 minutes of pre-quote marketing about how i should sign up for an annual Goettl's membership. Furthermore, after requesting an itemized quote, I didnt receive an itemized list outlining the breakdown of various costs. Interpersonally, Brandon was very kind, so I was disappointed that we couldn't meet and do business. $2200 for unit installation is significantly more expensive than the other installation quotes I have received. In the end, i have decided to purchase and install a new unit myself. I had hoped the excellent business we received from Goettl's for our furnace repair would echo over to the plumbing side of their business. Thank you to Goettl's...
Read more   Read moreOur furnace stopped working a few weekends ago so I called Goettls and scheduled for somebody to check and fix it. The person on the phone was very helpful and a delight to speak with. A technician arrived later that afternoon and diagnosed the problem. He gave me a few options and I chose the option to replace the flame igniter and the main blower motor and clean out the unit. Cost was $2,500 to replace a couple hundred dollars in parts. He also said that our 29-year furnace was ready to go out but the money we spent on the repairs would be applied to discount the cost of a new furnace. After leaving, we started hearing a loud knocking sound when the unit would start up. So a second technician came to check the furnace. He found that a few screws were missing on the motor mount so he replaced them. Unfortunately, the missing screws did not solve the knock so he came back a third time and found other missing screws. Knocking was still there, so we discussed options to replace the furnace. He checked with the main office and they could replace the furnace for about $7,000 which was discounted by half, not all, of the $2,500 we had already paid. If we wanted to upgrade the furnace to a Lennox, it would be about $3,000 more, $10,000 total. Through all of this, the Goettls employees were polite and professional. Regardless, we thought we should get other estimates and as it turns out, we were able to have a Lennox installed by another company for about 1/3 what Goettls quoted us. As Iâm sure Goettls is a fine company based on their reviews, there are more cost-effective options in...
