Canaan Superette — Local services in Canaan

I called to order 3 meals at this place for the first time tonight. I told the woman who answered the phone that this was my first time ordering from them. I asked her to please help me since I wasnt sure how things went there. They serve a Krispy chicken. I asked for the 3 pc chicken with potato wedges for the first meal and chicken nuggets for the other 2 meals. She said they were in the process of changing the menu and didnt have chicken nuggets. I said ok I'll just take 3 orders of the 3 pc chicken with the potato wedges. She asked me if I wanted sauce and I said yes Honey mustard for all three. She sent home 1 meal. My husband picked it up and didnt know what I'd ordered so he didnt check it. When I called to tell her what she had done, she told me that is what I ordered and she wasnt going to argue with me. I told her 3 times how many meals I wanted but she was extremely rude. The meal was good but that kind of rudeness has no place in a business. Its too bad..we live less than 15 minutes from there. We eat takeout often. I wont go...

Boy, Canaan Superette is the worst place for food these days. I ordered a hamburger and bacon pizza! I got home with a pepperoni and and mystery meat. One or both were not fresh. It was awful. Not to mention, when I got there, the pizza making girl/and the cashier Were down back at the deli together. I walked down to get my pizza, they said I needed to go upfront to pay and said the pizza was up there. After I paid, I had to go all the way back down to the deli to get the pizza cause they were afraid I was gonna leave with the pizza...

Food doesn’t compare to what they use to be and being stared at by the owners who were overlooking the girl at the register made me feel awkward. Also was treated like I was going to rob the place and when I was waiting for my food to be complete and ready I sat in my car which the owners started out the window watching me. My boyfriend’s sandwich which is a hot one has been made wrong the past 2 weeks and had to heat it up when we got home.
