Pat's Acres Racing Complex — Local services in Canby

I was out on a motorcycle ride with my dad and another friend and we decided just to stop by and check the place out. The grounds are very well-kept and inviting. As soon as we walked up we were greeted by Connor. He had a brief conversation with us and asked if we were first timers and showed us where to go to sign up. You fill out a waiver which takes only a few minutes and watch a quick video showing you the rules of the track. Everything moved really quickly and smoothly. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly. We also talked to Maddison, who I believe is one of the owners. She seemed to really care about her business and the customers. All of the instructors were very nice and informative. The cars were really cool and well kept. I believe we raced for 15 minutes and it was so much fun we had to go again. After we finish racing I thought I had lost my wallet somewhere on the track. A few of the employees were very nice about it and took it upon themselves to go look to try to find it. We drove down all the way from Vancouver BC to try this track out, since it looked like the coolest track in the PNW. The track was awesome, and the carts were great, but unfortunately the experience was okay at best. We booked three races each for a party of five, setting it up that we have a break between each race, but because we were near the end of the day before some kind of event practice we got rushed through three races in a row. The whole ordeal ended up feeling exhausting rather than enjoyable, and some members of our group didn't even finish all their races because of fatigue. Because of this and the overall pricing, it just didn't quite feel worth it at the end. I feel like if we come back one day we'll have to somehow plan a really early trip so this doesn't happen again.

In conclusion, don't make my mistake and book towards the end of the day, because the reservation timeslots on the website might not quite match the reality...

Reserved 3 races for a group of friends on a Tuesday morning, from the absolutely funny and friendly staff inside helping us register to the very kind and informational staff outside, everyone was amazing to us. The property is beautiful and green and the track is the funnest any of us have driven in the state to date! We also saw an Emu and some cute cows on our way in and out, can’t complain about that 🤷🏽‍♀️ One of the group members lost their phone on the track and the kind young man working spent a decent amount of time on the track looking for it which wasn’t the safest but he didn’t give up and found it! All in all 11/10 experience, don’t miss out if you’re interested in Karting, you won’t be disappointed, it’s fun recreationally for newbies and equally challenging if you’re getting into competitive Karting.
