🛑 ok, to make a long story short, 1st I'd like to say, I love this place I really do!!! I just had to redo this it was wayyyy to long, lol so shortened, I started my little animal sanctuary, lol I my way back from Tulsa I'd pick me up something new ther to add to my collection, well I had gotten a small bigfoot, yard yeti if you will, well I didn't even hav him 2 months and that windstorm we had blew him over and he broke.both of his arms, now I was kinda surprised ther was no rebar or wire in his arms, I really thought ther would be for some reason, but none, anywho I was really bummed and kinda mad! Well thought about taking it back, or trying myself to fix it, , yeah right! Well I called Northstar, to see how they fixed something that broke, I ACTUALLY THOUGHT SHE WOULD TELL ME TO BRING IT IN AND THEY WOULD FIX OR EXCHANGE IT,, I DID! But no she went on to tell me when something broke they just fix it with dollar general 6,000 glue , and then bondo the crakes to fill it in,, I was like wow ok, and yes I did try that, but ya know those arms aren't goin to stay on for one gravity is against me, I had to lay it down, and glue boat tape its arms on basically wrapped it wit tape just to keep arm on, I brought him inside my house I didn't want nothing touching it outside, animals and wat not, anyways I stood him back up tilook off the tape, about 30 min later the arms fell back off,, that really irritated me,, I was gonna call them back to speak to someone else, cause the gal I talked to sounded really young , I was hoping she wouldn't know wat she was talking about. Lol I know he was only $35. But that's a lot to some people, !!! Anywho IV gotten a few animals from ther already, was planning on alot more, but wats gonna fall off next?? I just figured a little more cooperation maybe, I'd would of taken it back so they could repair it for me, and I live in Fredonia KS, but that's how much I liked that place,, makes me mad cause my next thing to buy was the "man on his tractor" I would of got that one for my husband!! Not sure now,,, 🛑 thanks sorry so long! 😁 I'd like to add my photos so everyone can see wat I'm talking about, but I'm not sure how to! If anyone wouldn't mind taking the time to mayb show me , I mean if you read this far, then helping me should be no biggy lol, but I do hav pics if anyone is interested in seeing them,, I hope this don't make anyone mad, and I can always take it down maybe if it does,, but I'm just making ppl aware of wat could happen in the wind and they are heavy you wouldn't think they could fall over. I live over 4 hours away so I decided to try to buy something over the phone. They sent me several pictures via Facebook of what I was wanting. They were not bothered that I was asking lots of pricing questions. The staff is so amazing and so helpful! They went and got it mailed the day I made my choice. What a cool, fun place! There are a lot of booths with all kinds of eclectic items. The star of the show is all of the metal work! They have everything from branding irons to flamingos, pigs, palm trees, alphabet letters, military insignias. You name it, they have it made from metal! The staff was very friendly and helpful also.
