Canon Package/ Liquor Store — Local services in Canon

Actually I give a ZERO. I am disabled from being injured in Iraq by a roadside bomb. Total and permanent 100%. Federal ADA laws protect disabled persons including disabled war veterans. On 27 Aug 2020, I pulled up to the drive thru window, which has a sign saying for handicaps only. I sat and sat waiting on service and I saw a couple of workers walk by and look at me, so I know they knew I was there. I know the owner also know as “Boss Man”...so I called the number to the store. An unknown lady answered the phone and I told her I was at the window. I explained to her I was disabled and she did not believe...after further discussion she asked if I had a sticker or card saying I was disabled, which I do...I have a Disabled Veteran tag and a Purple Heart tag. She hung up and rude heavy set woman came to the window and said did you not see all the people we are helping? I advised no, that I can only see at the register area. I explained to her I was disabled and she was the manager and did not believe me. I asked her what happened to the customer being right? and she yelled out “this ain’t McDonalds!!!!” I advised her that I was protecting by federal law and as I drove off I advised I was going to write a review and report the violation. It’s not the point that her customer service was terrible and could use several months of customer service training, it’s that they refused to acknowledge that I am disabled....I am not finished here, and will report back after determining what action should be taken under ADA. When the government comes to investigate, maybe they will find other violations. The sheriff or Canon city council have no jurisdiction...

Kindness when people are spending money is normal so i won't judge based on conversation or the ability to sell sell or protect your inventory (hold the bag as it could break). I was pleased that my purchase was less than $100 because I'm new to this area and have spent $100s on little amounts from 2 other local stores. So, after reading the reviews of Canon, it was confirmed that affordability was the best asset. Not congested (easy to navigate) and they both encouraged me kindly to come during the day... Didn't understand that until I left... I am an African-American Woman 👩🏾 in the dirty South. I'll return during the day for that Salted Caramel Crown Royale...

I use to like going to Pete's till back in March one the workers I'll guess her boyfriend got in to fusse with this other dude I was sitting in a car when it happened didn't even get out when those 2 started screaming at each other the workers told me I couldn't come back there anymore and I was inacent about it all I didn't even know neather dude that was screaming...
