The Canton barn is an absolutely amazing venue. If you are looking for an event venue in the Sioux Falls or surrounding area you must see the Canton Barn. The owner & operators went above & beyond for the couple & their guests. Cannot say enough about how wonderful Tim, Cally & their entire staff were to work with.

The barn & the grounds are beautifully maintained. The barn is completely renovated and decorated with the perfect balance of rustic barn & class. There are also many indoor & outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy during the event.

The owners, Tim & Cally, are absolutely the type of people you want to work with for one of the most important days of your life. They were available for anything we needed from set up on Friday until clean up on Sunday. Their staff was also so helpful & provided amazing service behind the bar & scenes the entire weekend.

When the shuttle company who had been hired to drive for the wedding day didn’t come through Tim & Cally didn’t hesitate to find a driver to drive their shuttle to take guests home after the wedding. Justin came in unexpectedly & drove guests for the entire night & he was so nice & helpful through it all.

Oh, and when 2 tornados came through within miles of the venue Cally was the first to say that if needed she would find all the blankets she had & we would all sleep in the barn if we needed to.

By the end of the weekend the staff were friends. They were friends who first took care of business though. They were professional at all times & still found time to get to know their guests.

If you have an event at the Canton Barn I can guarantee that you & your guests will receive the same amazing service & friendship that our group did this past weekend. Check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Stop! If you are looking for a wedding venue with charm, lots of character and that rustic feel all rolled into one place, you've found it! Add in the owners, Tim and Kalli (aka your very own fairy godparents) who will do anything they can to make your vision of your dream day come true and what else could you want? When we first visited the Canton Barn with our daughter, Brooke and soon to be Son-in-law, Matt, my husband and I fell in love with it just as much as they did! We booked it that very day back in December of 2020! The wedding was last Saturday, May 14, 2022 and it was Perfect!! From the girls getting ready upstairs in the Bridal suite area, to the outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, to the Beautiful upstairs reception area to the downstairs "party on the dance floor" area you and your guests don't need to leave because it's ALL here!! A picturesque, authentic, over 100 year old Barn that is multi-level to give you so many different ways of creating your own special day. Throw in some Blue skies in May, birds singing, a soft breeze and the midwest nature at it's finest and oh, my! Not to forget Tim and Kalli's little touches they put in for us... (the Marine Corps flag for Matt, the beautiful flowers in the old truck, new cushions in the patio area, the champagne & gifts for the couple, etc.!!) The staff also was terrific! They truly want you to be happy and they help you out from start to finish. We can't say enough about this place and the people (now our new friends!!) who run it! Look for yourselves.. once you walk in those front doors it won't take you long to know this "little" Barn in the Midwest truly has it all! My husband and I cannot begin to express the gratitude and love we have for Kalli & Tim. From the first moment we met them in Fall 2019, we knew The Canton Barn is where we wanted to have our wedding.The Canton Barn is absolutely beautiful inside and out! There is so much warmth and natural beauty! Kalli and Tim honest to goodness are the most fun, goofy, professional, genuine, and caring people we have met! We started planning our wedding prior to the pandemic and had our date set for August 21. As things took a turn in the world, they kept us and so many others up to date on what their plans were, were flexible, available at any hour of the day if we needed them, and made us feel at peace. We never moved our date or had plans to. We put so much trust in God and the process, that whatever the day would bring (COVID or no COVID), that we would still get married! Kalli and Tim made us feel like family! They truly love their clients, give 110% into their businesses, and do it all with such grace and patience!
