Canton Importing — Local services in Canton

Very cool local import store. My grandparents I believe have been going here for years. The store carries both Greek and Italian goods. Saw lots of pastas, olives, meats, cheeses, oils and breads. There was also a pretty cool assortment of other "random" Italian and Greek items. The Pizelle iron stood out to me as a one off type deal.

Meat and cheese selection was very nice and seemed reasonably priced. They had most standard cheeses and Italian meats deli style. They were even selling these delicious Italian sandwiches.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and were not pushy or overbearing which i always appreciate in small places like this. Parking lot is a little tricky as it's pretty rough and Canton does an awful job on taking care of their roads. The lot exists right next to the Laundromat that's in the unit next to Canton Import.

This particular business is under new ownership with a husband and wife team that are truly a team. You can buy bulk or just enough for the day not for one or enough for a dozen. Excellent feta, cheeses, gyro breads, and other Italian and Greek staples. They carry pre-cooked gyro meat ready for your dinner and lots of meats and cheeses for various uses. A whole prosciutto or several slices - great authentic foods. Italian subs are made right in their own deli and they can be paired with delicious olives of your choice. Everything that is needed or desired for a Greek or Italian meal is available right in this convenient store. A good selection of quality products with a good price. If you want Greek barrel Feta, olives, and other very high quality Mediterranean high quality foods, then this is the place to visit. Forget Aldi, Giant Eagle, Acme, Walmart, and others, the prices at those places is over double what is here for quality that doesn't even begin to approach the quality of the foods at Canton Importing. I bought Danish Blue cheese for $8.99/lbs and it is the finest Danish Blue I have tried.
