If I could put 0 stars I would. To those responsible for misconduct—this message is for you. To those who have acted with integrity, I recognize and respect your efforts, and I regret that you’ve been associated with this situation. But let me be clear: those who are aware of the wrongdoing and choose to remain silent out of fear or convenience are not innocent bystanders. Silence in the face of injustice is complicity. Choosing not to speak up is a choice to protect wrongdoing—and that, too, carries responsibility. I feel compelled to express deep concern regarding the investigative conduct of the Canton Police Department and associated law enforcement agencies involved in the case of Karen Read. The integrity of any criminal investigation is foundational to public trust in the justice system. In this case, the investigative process appears to have been marred by negligence, bias, and, potentially, active obstruction. A man was found deceased on the property of a law enforcement officer under highly suspicious circumstances, and the narrative presented by police has raised more questions than it has answered. Key investigative missteps—including the failure to properly secure the scene, failure to conduct proper witness canvassing, ignoring all plausible alternative theories, disregarding the medical examiners findings, and troubling signs of possible evidence tampering—suggest a pattern of misconduct or, at best, gross incompetence. These actions are not merely administrative oversights; they represent a profound dereliction of duty that jeopardizes the liberty of an individual and undermines the fundamental principles of justice. Worse still is the appearance that the investigative trajectory was skewed early on to fit a preconceived narrative, despite glaring conflicts in the physical evidence. This suggests a deliberate effort to shield individuals from scrutiny due to their status or personal connections within law enforcement. Such behavior, if proven true, reflects systemic corruption and a culture of impunity that cannot be tolerated in any democratic society. Karen Read, like every accused person, is entitled to a fair and impartial process grounded in facts—not assumptions, institutional loyalty, or political expediency. Any miscarriage of justice in this case will not only devastate the life of an individual but will erode public confidence in our legal institutions. It is the duty of law enforcement to pursue truth, not to protect its own at the expense of it. If Massachusetts state authorities fail to act, I strongly urge the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI to step in to immediately investigate the integrity of the police conduct in this matter and take appropriate disciplinary and legal action if misconduct is substantiated. Our system of justice demands nothing less. For those complicit in the deception and cover-up, justice may be delayed, but it is never denied to the truth. You will answer for it—whether now or in time. Truth doesn’t just go away because it’s buried. It always finds a way out. Accountability is approaching … it would be wise to...
Read moreNot too long ago, my young daughter’s bike was stolen from in front of her friend’s house in our neighborhood. I went down to the police station and filled out a report, although I knew that getting it back was unlikely. However, the bike was fairly discernible due to the unique looking kickstand on it that I purchased from Amazon. During the next few weeks, I checked out some online marketplaces and ended up coming across what appeared to be her bike being sold on Craigslist by someone in Ayer, MA. The officer who took my initial statement (Pascarelli) gave me his email address, so I sent him a detailed email with pictures. No response. I waited a few days and went back to the station and spoke with another officer and explained the situation. He said he’d look into it and also gave me his email address. After not hearing anything after several days, I reached out to him as well. Once again, no response. I already did most of the detective work and just needed someone to check it out. They didn’t even pretend to go through the motions of looking into it before blowing me off, they just ignored...
Read moreAs a concerned and outraged citizen of the United States, I am speaking today to express my profound disgust at the deeply troubling conduct surrounding the Karen Read case. What has unfolded in Canton, Massachusetts is not only an affront to justice but a glaring stain on the credibility of this department.
The evidence of corruption, collusion, and obstruction has not gone unnoticed by the public. The arrogance with which this case has been handled — the selective prosecution, the alleged cover-ups, and the blatant disregard for transparency — reflects a broken system that shields its own rather than serves the people.
We, the citizens, are watching. We demand accountability. We demand reform. And we will not be silenced or distracted until justice is no longer a manipulated privilege, but a guaranteed right — even in Canton.
Your badge is not a shield from consequences. And the truth will not...
