
8/2024 5* The raceway is unique. No walls on the high banks is different. I have never seen that before. But it was good and enjoyable. The races were good for sure. The drivers had a lot of great competition, so it was fun to watch. I enjoyed the ability to carry a cooler in. I did not really have any as I came from out of town. But that was a unique feature. The stands were HUGE. And the crowd was ok I guess. Not as large as I thought there would be. I really thought the bouncy slide for the kids was pretty cool. The food was just ok. Nothing special. The hamburger on the nachos I do NOT recommend. No seasoning. Just plain old gray ground beef. Kind of looked and taster like it was from last week. The rest of the food was ok. And service was pretty fast. All in all I had a good time watching some races. I would recommend for other dirt track fans to stop by and...
Read moreIt's a long drive from East Peoria which is not their fault, but it makes for a late tired drive home. The track is well maintained which makes for great racing, and I have seen some awesome races there. My major beef is with the snack bar. Would it be too difficult to carry Coke and diet Coke to go with the Pepsi products of which you don't even offer diet Mountain Dew? How about Gatorade? Most people don't like Pepsi or diet Pepsi. Now for the biggest gripe I have. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO COOK THE HOT DOGS AND CORN DOGS! I have gotten all the way to my seat at the top the stands only to find my dog was raw and uncooked.
