Incredibly dishearten and disappointed with the service I received from Cantril Truck and Trailer. Found a trailer they had listed for sale on marketplace. Reached out to them on 1-11-24. Got no response, so I called them on 1-12-24 and spoke to a representative, but was told no sales reps were in at the time so I left my name and number. Called back on 1-12-24 and still was unable to talk to someone about the availability and details of the trailer I was interested in. On 1-15-24 I still had received so contact from them so I emailed them at 7:30 AM. Finally spoke to the sales manager at about 3:00pm on 1-15-24 and we agreed that he would call me at 8:00 am when they opened on the 1-16-24 so I could put some money down to hold the trailer. That gave me the evening to talk it over with my wife and make a final decision. Did not receive a call at 8:00 am, and I called them several times throughout the morning, and after sitting on hold for 20 minutes I was told that another sales rep had a guy call about the trailer and had showed up onsite and was filling out paperwork to buy the trailer.

Extremely poor professionalism, communication, and fairness shown by their sales team. If you are interested in buying a trailer but would like to deal with salesmen that will hold to their word, I suggest you...

Ordered a 30' flatbed with 3 ramps on the back. Added several features that were not stock to beef it up as we haul out of a lot of 'nasty' places. I am extremely happy with the trailer, we have used it more than we thought we would. Have hauled a lot of hay, an M6 Kubota tractor with loader and various other things and vehicles. Very nice trailer. We normally haul 12 big round bales of hay so we stay legal with the weight, but have hauled as many as 16 in a pinch. We pull it with an F550 so we don't worry about the weight on the truck. Very happy with the service at Cantril and the speed which we got the trailer since it was special order. I would recommend Cantril to anyone interested in trailers. Very happy with all my options. Will buy my next trailer at the same place. Matt treated me very well. I really love the Monster Jacks. WARNING: If you value your equipment, stay away...FAR away...from Zimmerman Auto LCC in Cantril, Iowa. Took a John Deere 60 inch mower deck and 12" rims to Zimmerman's for sandblasting and painting. Seven months later, I picked up my 'finished' mower deck and was charged $175 for 'sandblasting and painting'. I provided the paint. Needless to say, the 'finished' mower deck was NOT sandblasted (as stated it was, and billed for). Took the mower deck to two independent body shops, each of whom verified the deck had NOT been sandblasted. The paint was merely sprayed on the deck. Amazed the 'finished' deck did not contain a clearcoat...which told it would. Deck had noticable paint 'overrun' and chips in the newly painted items! Zimmerman's made no offer to redo the job...I will NEVER take any of my equipment to Zimmerman Auto LCC in Cantril, Iowa, ever again! If you value your equipment and believe in paying a fair price for a quality job, then stay away...FAR away...from Zimmerman Auto LCC in...
