I had no idea the treat I was in pulling up this shop! I have passed by a bunch and seen the stuff outside but always been “too busy” to stop. Today, I finally stopped, Robert greeted me immediately, such a lovely and humble man, explained the shop to me then left me alone to browse. I purchased what I thought was just a bird on a piece of wood, that Robert made. As I was pulling out Robert’s wife, Tracy was pulling in, who was so lovely, she stopped me. She wanted to see the bird, she likes to see all of Robert’s work and she didn’t have a chance to see this one before it was sold. She explained Robert’s history to Cape Charles which was so amazing. Awesome place great people amazing wood especially if your looking for that piece to make a bar top or tabletop out of perfect place for that or even if your on the hunt for old bottles or those amazing one of a kind pieces of driftwood that have been cleaned up yes yes yes and they're willing to work with you if you only want a particular part of a piece of wood they'll cut it for you and everything pretty amazing mom and pop shop will definitely be coming...
