BEWARE OF BOOKING WITH THIS HOST DAVID.. My daughter booked thru ARNB one of his homes in Cape Coral for the week of Jun14th 2025, unfortunately a family emergency arose and we needed to cancel the reservation 6 months prior to travel. We paid 1/2 the reservation which was$1,600. On Davids ABNB listing the cancelation policy stated 50% refund if canceled prior to May 14th. No where did it clearly state that there would be no fund if it was a partial payment , when my daughter put the cancelation thru it showed a $185.00 refund. At that point she started messaging David his response was There’s nothing I can do. My daughter started messaging ARBNB and was told it’s up to the host David to refund this went back and worth for days . We then decided to go thru the credit card company , when we received the denied claim due to the partial payment policy ( WHICH AGAIN WAS NOT POSTED ON HIS SITE) I decide to contact David myself letting him know that this is a 25 yr old who works hard for her money and this would be a horrible hardship to loose $1,600. I begged him to refund the money, he just kept sticking to his policy . I also reminded David he already rebooked that week so again asked him to do the right thing and refund her of course David refused. Read moreUnfortunately we weren't able to travel to the Villa for family reasons however, David the Host was absolutely first class, communication with him was excellent throughout and offered us a full refund which he didn't have to do. We are really sad we will not be travelling to their Villa this year but as Hosts, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Many thanks and hopefully we will see...

Das Team von Vacation in Florida hat uns über die verheerenden Konsequenzen des Hurrikans Ian vor Ort und vor allem in Bezug auf unser gemietetes Ferienhaus stets, quasi täglich, auf dem Laufenden gehalten. So hatten wir zum frühest möglichen Zeitpunkt die Gelegenheit, den Urlaub umzuplanen.
Der komplette Stornierungsvorgang ging mehr als reibungslos. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir haben quasi an einem Tag die offizielle Stornierung des Objektes bekommen, weil dieses unbewohnbar war. Am nächsten Tag war die geleistete Miete für das Ferienhaus schon wieder bei uns auf dem Konto.
Im Nachgang bekamen wir noch weitere Nachrichten, die uns über den Fortgang der Reparaturmaßnahmen vor Ort ins Bild setzten.
Wir hoffen, dass die Schäden an der Infrastruktur zeitnah wieder behoben sind und werden dann im nächsten Jahr hoffentlich wieder in unser gewohntes Cape Coral zurückkehren können. Dann natürlich auch wieder mit Vacation in Florida. Einen so guten und direkten Kontakt und Service haben wir bis jetzt noch nie irgendwo gehabt. Danke ans gesamte Team!...
