I stayed here for a few days with an outside group for a retreat. The facilities are kept in clean well working condition. Food was just so so and individuals that were pre-identified as having special dietary needs were accommodated but had to ask at ever meal period and items didn't appear to be readied at the same time. Having no access to cell signal is a great plus if you are a participant... and luckily the pay phone allowed us to connect to 911 when needed. A few nice trails right from the buildings allow you to spend time in nature too. Ive just been to here as a student. It was so fun going through the challenge trail, grandpa's flat, the grove, waterfall trail, and to rattlesnake creek. Thank you kreacher, Owl, tundra, edgewise, alpine, pangea, tahoe, cabin leaders, chickenman, other naturalists, and all the teachers who made this trip possible. It may seem much smaller than some other sites at first-- but they actually easily host a group of 200+.
