I recently drove over this bridge on my way to Cookeville. As I passed it, I had a sense of deja vu. And I could distinctly remember the parking area for some reason. And then I remembered, and I mean this with complete truth: I had a dream about this specific bridge. I saw this bridge collapse and a man fail to save a young girl as it collapsed. But overall the dam is pretty nice. I would really recommend visiting here and seeing the vast scenery. The pavilion area is a nice area to hang out as well. A group of guys and I visited it and had a small party there, although at the time I did not recognize it as the same dam that was in my dreams as it was dark out at the time...
