Carver Crossing — Local services in Carver

The place was amazing when we moved in first. Than as more people started to move in, we started seeing the place getting trashy. After a month of living there with a new tenants moving in, we got cockroaches everywhere in the house (have pictures for proof). You could smell weed from other peoples units. People smoking on the property where they couldn't. The parking lot was super small, by the end of the night you wouldn't see a single spot to park on and there was no street parking. Management was new and didn't know what she was doing. She never had an answer to our questions, she would always make us talk to another manager from a different location. We never had a peace and quiet from our neighbors from upstairs due to kids running and jumping and management did nothing for that and all the noise was happening at night when my kids were sleeping. There is a tiny playground which is gated and other tenants would let their big dogs do their thing in there so our kids were never able to play in it. We broke the lease after 6 months because it was unbearable to live there. Not only did I not get my security deposit back after leaving the place spotless, nobody even contacted me afterwards. I just moved in, and so far it’s great! My washer wasn’t working, nor was my garage opener, but they fixed it right away! I moved in on a Saturday so I had to wait until Monday for the fixes, but they weren’t very important. The manager is very nice and the few people I’ve seen in the hallways have all greeted me. It’s a very quiet building so far, which I love. I feel very safe here. They were very slow to respond to emails pre-lease signing, so it did take about a month to finally get in and get paperwork signed. But the current manager is new and learning, and the area manager is short staffed so I won’t hold it against them. So...

My daughter put a 500.00 deposit down, she couldn’t get into the apartment, asked for her 500.00 deposit back. She has contacted the property management twice and I have called them twice as well. All you get is voicemail to leave a message but no one returns the calls. My daughter really needs the money returned to her so that she can use it for another apartment.
