If you care about quality service DO NOT BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT HERE! I have never in my life wrote a review about a company and I felt like I needed to let the people know that this place is the least professional service department in the industry. Brought my chainsaw in for service and concerns. The concerns I had was the chain falls off from time to time and UNDER A LOAD the chain saw makes a rattling noise which they didn’t seem to understand what “UNDER A LOAD” meant because nick the service guy said they did a dry run with no chain on. Which isn’t a load and said in order to do that I have to buy a bar and chain which I already knew. I asked if they went through the whole saw and nick said yes. I said so the blade guard got replaced and he said there isn’t any notes here on that. It was about 3 weeks in the shop when they told me 1-2 weeks and nothing was fixed, they didn’t even have the bar for my saw after 3 weeks of it sitting there when nick knew it needed one. By far the worst plAce to get your equipment serviced. I’m back to where I was 3 weeks ago. Thanks! I will let everyone know not to do any buisness with this...
Read moreBrought my stihl chainsaw here for a tune-up since it was staying running. Ask if I needed anything else done like chain sharpening or anything and I said no, just a tune-up. Got the chain saw back after 2 weeks, costed me $180 for a tune-up, and they sharpened my blades when I said no. They claimed my gas was contaminated and that’s why it wouldn’t start.
The bad part, brought my chainsaw home, let it set for a 2 weeks until I started to do yard work (early Spring) the chain saw doesn’t run and it like they never touched it except put gas in and sharpened the saw. I figured they would clean the carburetor or something. I took it apart and looked like nothing was completed! Still the old spark plug, the air filter was NEVER cleaned, you can see it was dirty just but popping the case off. I put in fresh premium gas and used stihl 2 cycle oil and chainsaw still run like before I dropped it off.
$180 for a tune up on a 350 chainsaw is ridiculous especially after it still doesnt work.
I wanted to come here because they were a stihl dealership but the...
Read moreEvery interaction I've had with Norfolk Power has been exceptional. Manufacturer supply problems during the pandemic forced me to purchase a new BX23s out of state but when I began having trouble with only 10 hrs on the machine Norfolk Power treated me as if I had just purchased it from them. The problem wasn't exactly straight forward either as the original dealer had improperly installed a component and it was causing leaks that were difficult to determine. At every turn Norfolk Power was professional and attentive taking on all the headaches and working with Kubota and the other manufacturer so I didn't have to. I can't say enough good things about Nick in service, his guys, or the business itself. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything from them and they will always have my service business. Thanks again for all...
