Zero stars what it should be, they don't deserve anything better than that. A mediocre store with dismal customer service to boot. I was in the store on December 22, 2018 around 2:30 pm, I asked Kaela an employee there if she could help me with the hair products as I had no clue being an esthetician. She just snapped back that she did not do hair, and that I should have looked up the product before asking her, which I relayed to my daughter on the phone, while in the store. Though, today 26 December, 2018 Kaela went out of her way to be helpful. She must have heard what I said my daughter earlier. I was happy to see the change in attitude. It have me hope.
I go with great trepidation to Cosmoprof in Cary as I don't know what kind of employee I will run into. I owned a business for seven years, my clients loved me and were sad that I sold my business. I gave them my best, worked hard, so I wonder what makes these Cosmoprof employees better than me or any other clients who work very hard to keep their clients happy. Don't come to work if you don't like working with people.
This afternoon my daughter and I went to shop at Cosmoprof. I let her pick the stuff she needed as it was a Christams gift from me. There are many other licensed professionals who come with their families to shop. I Felt very honoured that my daughter who is a licensed architect and who is very respectful of my profession indulged me. She can buy her products on Amazon or go to any store where she lives and buy it at full price.I was shocked when Sarah who works there, an obnoxious employee, so very rudely told my daughter to put the basket back in its place at the counter. My daughter was very gracious, did not say a word, just put the basket away. I thought that it was Sarah's job to do that. I was seething mad, but I held my peace. As another client walked in and recognised me and said how she missed me, while Sarah who was busy giving me a lecture that I should read the label before buying, even though I did an immediate return. Sarah quickly changed her attitude as there was a witness who might say something against her. Now I understand why Amazon is thriving: no human contact with bad attitudes; cheaper products, and returns are easy without unnecessary lectures.
I hope Cosmoprof at some point realises that good customer service is an asset, and not a deterrent for...

I have been doing hair for many years and seen my share of rude people but this store's employee 'Sarah' took the cake !! Sarah literally told us that she did NOT have time to help! EVERY question that we asked, she spoke in the most hateful disgusted tone. It was truly shocking! The manager was kind and did step in and help so I do appreciate that. He in the store while the other employee continued talking down to customers though. I will be contacting the owners and will most definitely never give this store my business again, unless there is some major changes made.
