All my disc golf buddies and I live in Portland, and I've been eyeballing this course for a while. It's not that far of a drive at all. And it was absolutely worth it. The Columbia River gorge is just so beautiful on any day, and well it's the middle of winter, the day that we went was remarkably clear and not windy, which if you know anything about the gorge, it's a special day. The course is well laid out and takes excellent advantage of the landscape that's provided. Challenging is a good word, with trees, elevations, exposed rock, even large sand pits. Read moreIf you haven't played here you should. This course has a great variety from long open holes to short wooded ones. Beware of tall grass though. Unfortunately this course doesn't see the most maintenance and can be very frustrating if half your round is spent picking sharp grass seeds from yours socks and searching for discs you're standing right next to.
One last thing. The number 2 basket was removed for an event and is still mia! We've been playing the 2nd tee to the 15th basket, but someone track that damn basket down and get it back...
