Definitely my favorite dispensary! Faith was my tender today, I was sort of difficult due to being spoiled when I was younger, I also think my nose wasn't working right hehe. She was so patient and set me up right. I actually ended up getting some of the half off bogo buds and I really wasn't expecting anything all to crazy, but I opened it up and to my surprise did have a decent smell, especially considering it was picked nearly a year ago. Absolutely 1000% worth it, I puffed a joint when I got home and was very pleasantly surprised!
I also bought a couple buckets which she recommended, also a drink that I'm chilling. To be honest, the joint of the half off Z of Purple Fun Dip got me baked and I want to give everything a fair shake, so I'll have to tell you the next time I come in. I'm really excited to try the drink, I've had poor luck with edibles and it woild be sweet if i could find something for that nice body buzz again.
Another nice thing was the conversation we had, I don't get out much and it's always nice to get to know people and to hear their stories!
While joking about being picky another tender chirped in that I wasn't allowed with a beautiful smile hehe. It was just a fun experience, a lot of people probably go for the smoke explicitly, but I go to JARS just as much for the interactions with your people. You seem to pick some good ones, and I'm high on conversation usually by the time I leave. (It can happen when you are always alone).

( The top was my first initial review, which the budtender offered me a free pre roll to "give her a review on Google" while still in the store, so I did) That was before I realized what happened. š© So as we were paying, it seemed like waaaaay too much?? But she took my money and stapled the bag to the receipt and we were on our way. Something didn't seem right so we looked at our receipt, and noticed that we were charged DOUBLE for two packs of pre rolls that were supposed to be on sale. So instead of paying for the 2 we were supposed to get for a deal. We paid for 4 at full price. $100 for 4 packs of pre rolls. So we had to turn around and go back. Felt like a Karen coming BACK in the store with my bag and telling them "umm excuse me I was just here," and what happened. š But after about 15 minutes of standing there the manager finally got me my refund. They still taxed so I still didn't get the full amount back but glad I got it figured out anyway. But what I learned from the experience is when your Budtender is checking prices for u make sure she removes them from the order your paying for!! At least that's what I hope that's what happened š but the bud is still good and we still plan on coming back. But I will say the deli bud is more expensive than most places. But it tastes good and a different variety than most...

However, as I asked more questions about the products and made changes to my order, he became more visibly frustrated, and I was unhappy with the way the interaction was unfolding. Since I still had more to buy and didnāt want to escalate the situation, I decided to step back and return later.
When I came back, another staff member took over and was fantasticāpatient, friendly, and eager to help with any questions. The manager also quickly resolved an issue with my first-time customer discount, which hadnāt been applied due to a system glitch. She handled it professionally, and I really appreciated her prompt assistance. The security guard outside was also great, offering helpful local dining suggestions.
Iāve been to every dispensary in the Upper Peninsula, and as a new option up here, Jars definitely gets a warm welcome from me.
Overall, Jars Iron River offers a great selection and solid service. If I could, Iād give them 4.5 stars, but since the option isnāt available, 4 stars feels right. Iād just encourage management to remind all employees of the importance of maintaining a positive and patient attitude with customers, especially when theyāre making significant purchases.
