A great place to inspire you for sewing and craft projects. The staff is friendly, very helpful and always willing to assist with questions. What a wonderful place filled with such a large variety of fabrics and notions and unique items. It is very difficult to just run in and out! Plan to have time to browse. They have a very nice newsletter that can be mailed out, listing their classes, sales, recipes and a friendly update that makes you feel more like family than just a customer. The personal touch is such a great addition to their business. I had been looking for a specific pattern and unable to locate it elsewhere. I have been buying from Rachel's store for over 25 years. She has always had up to date fabrics, and even some hard to fine older fabric's I have hunted for. Her prices are better then any fabric shop I have been to. This includes shops throughout Ohio, WV, Michigan and Pa. She and her staff are all lovely and most helpful. I love gong to this place for my fabric, some of the stuff is a few dollars more than compared to Joanns (rip), but they still have a selection as large as they did and plenty of bargain fabric. I personally love the crushed velvet but wished they had it in black (I'm not sure if it can be ordered by them or how it works). It gets pretty busy Thursdays through Saturdays, so I would recommend going earlier in the week for more one on one help and for a faster checkout experience.
