Alexanders Sewer and Drain Videoed my drain in Sept 23 said all was fine no problems. I saw something on the video and they said that was because we were in the city main. Then 6 or more months later with plumbing calls virtually monthly and new clean out bills they blamed on tenant using wipes and flushing tampons. Finally get another company out there and they video the line again. Understand I did not do more video this entire time based on Alexanders assurance that all was good. Now the new company finds the main under the street was broken and that was the real reason for the issue I saw in September. The main drain was broken the entire time and was always the cause of the problem. I bought the house expecting to replace the main drain in the fall of 23 but was assured that was not needed so I wasted thousands of dollars on other service calls. If I were told there may be an issue with the main drain under the street I would have had a bit more investigation as the the exact issue and would have replaced in that fall saving all the wasted money after that. I have spoken with Alexanders and they keep blaming a broken clean out that happened in the spring of 24 and they act like they had no way of knowing and the still say the video they did is of the city main. I have both videos and this is very clearly not the case. I just wanted thousand or two back of the multiple thousands I spent needlessly based on their advice. They refuse to make it right. I have over 30 door and they will not do work on any of them in the future. Korrect Plumbing found the issue showed me exactly what was going on and walked me thru the video, then when they did the repair I was there and they showed me the damage to the main drain when they removed it. 10000000% sure what happened and Korrect will get my business...

Read moreI previously had a positive experience with Alexander, which led me to call them again when I encountered a problem with my washing machine backing up into the sink. Unfortunately, this time was not as satisfactory. They did not arrive on the scheduled day, and I had to follow up with a phone call. While they promptly sent someone out, it was a different technician than the one I had previously worked with. The new technician did not take the time to inspect the sink; instead, he immediately concluded that the issue was with our main drain after having me flush the toilets three times. He presented me with two options, but when I chose the first, he abruptly stated that it wouldn't work. Despite my attempts to explain our situation, he insisted that the problem stemmed from tree roots, which had been removed over a year ago. However, we had snaked the drain less than six months prior and had found no roots. Feeling frustrated, I decided to seek a second opinion. The new plumbing company listened to my concerns and examined the sink and washing machine setup, concluding that the issue was unrelated to the main drain. They successfully completed the job, and I am relieved I made the switch. The initial technician's proposed solution would not have resolved our actual problem, despite his assurances. Additionally, if a plumber struggles to remove the bolts securing a toilet, I would prefer to work with...
