Great "looking" property. But if you dont have $50-60 dont bother. let me explain. I brought my wife with me to play eagles crossing, she doesn't play disc golf she just wanted to walk with me and see a new course. I assumed pay to play dont get me wrong. but when I approach the people quote unquote running the place told me it would be just about $40-45 for me to play and around $12 for my wife just to walk with me. everything included fishing swimming or whatever they were saying. but all I'm trying to do is play a round a disc golf nothing else. so there should be a separate price for just wanting to do one of these things instead of all of them together. Besides that the situation seemed extremely sketchy and it sounded like they were just throwing prices at me. when I told them I had about 25 to 30 bucks to spend they said there was nothing they can do. I recall being a disc golfer and playing disc golf was inexpensive that's why we do it. i dont know maybe im in the wrong.. just seemed odd tho... btw nobody was there.. so whats it hurting? Ridiculous pricing in my opinion.
this is coming from somebody who's played courses in California that were pay to play, that had built-in sprinkler systems, concession stands, merch, clothes, disc's, MONEY HOLES?! where you could win $300 by hitting an Ace. for a whopping $3.50 / $5 to play...
Read moreMy husband had had this place on his bucket list ever since we saw OTB's skins match on YouTube. I was nervous because of the length of some of the holes, but was ready to take on the tight corners and the difficulty. The course has red, white, and blue tees... and although the difficulty is high- I was comfortable at reds and appreciated the versatility. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and it is obvious how much work went into/is going into this course. The cabin is a home away from home. They have a grill outside of the cabin, a pro shop, and give you in detail course maps and score cards. The pro came and checked on us while we were playing and conversated- let us know that he was there if we needed anything. Everything about this place is enjoyable and smooth- from the communication to the reservation itself. We stopped at a Schnuck's prior- that seemed to be the closest grocery store on our route. BRING THROW-AWAY DISCS. Lol. We lost a Thrasher, a Wraith, a Kaxe, and a Berg. Yikes! We will definitely be making another trip...this was an unforgettable...
Read moreTwo friends and I hit up Eagle Crossing last week. This place is like no where else I've ever played. Stunningly beautiful, well kept, fun (and challenging) layouts. Played both Wild Times and the championship course. Recommend both for sure. Some tips... Use a bug spray to deter ticks. I think me and my buds pulled about a dozen off of us between three rounds. Bring some discs you don't mind losing in the water or high brush Bring spare shoes and even consider waterproof socks. Your feet will get wet if it is raining or had rained recently. Keep those feet dry, you'll thank me later. Extra towels. Expect a 4 to 5 hour play thru your first time for the championship course. 4 hours for Wild Times. One round per day is probably enough for most casual players. You will have a couple opportunities thru your championship play thru to return to the parking lot for drinks or whatever. Wild Times does not give you much opportunity to return for a stop. Say hi to TJ in the pro shop for me. Awesome dude. Ask him to rip one out there for you, guy has a monster...
