They lack in customer service. As I had hay that was paid for in advance due to circumstances. I was not able to get the hay due to after 2 days of letting them know I was the one from another state and was only in town for a short period they would not call me back to let me know that my hay was there to pick up. Instead came up with excuses until they closed each time that I called. If you want poor customer service then this is the place to go. But I definitely will not be going back as they did not provide what had been paid for. They are very much not trying to help or provide good quality customer...

I love going to The Shack whether it be to purchase deer corn, fresh fruits and vegetables or just to have an ice cream cone with my daughter. This is a family-owned business and you can feel that family atmosphere when you go in. Oh my goodness the cakes that Granny makes, in which they sell there, are to die for! They have even shared recipes with me and made suggestions on what would go good when I tell them what I'm cooking as my main entree. If you have never been here I would suggest to anyone to stop in and visit. I'm sure you will leave out with something and be very pleased...
