Dollar General — Local services in Celeste

Items ring up for more than the price marked on merchandise, the cashier/manager on duty said they can not change the price. Had 2 items that were labeled at $5 each (a black and yellow DG price tag with a bar code) they ring up at $8 at the register. The manager on duty said they do not have an option to override the price. The digital coupons do not apply to the final sales price, and cashiers say it's an issue with corporate and nothing they can do in store. The cashier gives the total ($31.32), then I enter my phone number for the digital coupons and it shows that it has been accepted. Josh and Judy were so kind and patient when I was having an issue with my debit card. Josh put all of my items away because I thought I couldn't get it to work and then figured it out, came back in and he collected my items for me again and brought them to the checkout. Store did not honor $5 coupon from DG app. Cashier claimed it would be on receipt. When we pointed out that it was not, we waited an unacceptable amount of time for a "manager" to show up.
