On November 13, 2020, 9G on Amazon sold me an Austin 'bedroom machine' air purifier model as "new".Austin advertises that their new air purifier machines and filters will reduce the risk of COVID transmission.
My spouse, a front lines health care worker, contracted COVID 2 weeks ago. I bought the Austin HEPA air purifier to keep our home's air clean of the CORONA virus. When I opened the box (which had been resealed), there were scratches and dust and a missing screw. This raised a red flag. I called Austin, the manufacturer. Austin reported that the serial number 601430106 indicated the unit was four years old and not new! Nine G sold me a machine made in 2016! I almost blew a gasket. Austin even claimed that 9G was a 'trusted dealer'. The purfier was not only four years old but the filter itself was at the end of its life as Austin only has a five year pro-rated filter guarantee. We paid $800 to 9G Health to protect us from the CORONA virus and got tricked by Nine G.
But this Tennessee based, 'family business' deceptively sold a five year old unit as "new". Amazon took it back but have other 9G customers contracted COVID or worse as a result of 9G's chicanery? I bet the 9G crowd are anti-maskers too. Is it just me, or is it ironic that 9G ends their voice mail with: "have a blessed day"?
This is dead serious. I am contacting New York, Maryland and Tennessee attorneys...

Its a quality made product and you cant beat the price for what you get.. thanks for...
