Took my ten year old grandson there last weekend. Tickets (Adult) were $7, children under 12 get in free. We had a great time. Lots of cool displays, everything from 100+ year old steam engines, antique construction and mining equipment to classic tractors, cars, and even riding mowers. We spent 9 hours driving round trip to see this show & it was worth it. My only “gripe”, if you could call it that, is that the food vendors were scattered throughout the museum grounds. This wasn’t a huge deal, but IMO it would be a good idea to put them all in one area with restrooms/porta-pottys nearby.
I’m grateful that places like this still exist. I spent far more money traveling to the museum than I spent at the museum. Everything, including admission and concessions, was reasonably priced, and parking was free. Places like this are increasingly rare. Brownsville, PA has a real gem in the National Pike Steam, Gas &...
Read moreThis is a great festival to go to. Very well organized and ran. Was there for the first time for the spring show and was amazed at how large it actually was. The were tons of people there as well as cars but we had no problems getting in, finding parking, and getting in the gate. Not much of a wait. Really impressed with the demonstrations of the equipment and displays. Not anywhere you can go and see this kind of equipment up close and working. Especially the mining equipment. We are so glad we made the decision to travel the hour and...

The chicken dinners are a must have, and the practical knowledge you can pick up from people on logging, shingle making, rope making, etc is invaluable. The tractors are interesting, and the fresh made lemonade at the lemonade hut is fantastic. I usually enjoy seeing the crafts people are selling near the...
