West Ky Labs — Local services in Central City

My 13 year old son bought his first lab from Keith at West KY Labs on 4/13/2019. We did quite a bit of research online and found West KY Labs. Keith was very responsive to calls and texts as we contemplated the decision. We drove to the kennel and were pleased with his setup. Keith was happy to let us see each puppy we wanted to see and was patient (even though the weather was terrible) while we played with them to see which one would fit our family best. He also let us walk the grounds to see his dogs and facilities up close. Once the decision was made, Keith cleaned up the puppy and then invited us inside his home to go over the paperwork. He took his time and was careful to ensure that we understood the process. At no time did we feel rushed to complete the sale and move on. Since we brought Bear home, Keith has been active and engaged in helping/coaching us through the growing pains of training a puppy. I brought my silver lab puppy home from WKL 3 wks ago, my pup is now 10wks old, birth name “Gator”; he is a son of Hercules & Cleo, is an exceptionally bright & quick learner. I am not a trainer professionally, but I have used many of Stonny Dennis’s YouTube training methods with my pup. The pup is already fetching at 30 ft, sitting, shaking hands, coming when called on a consistent basis. Pup has been healthy and appears to have excellent eyesight & hearing, and also does some vocalizing in human tones to communicate that is not whining or barking. What can I say… I am completely in love with my Silver Lab, Moose… I’ll start with the interaction with Keith, great guy, very informative and accommodating. He takes breeding serious and cares for his pack… now my lil Moose, we picked him up at just over 7 weeks, he is 12 weeks now and unbelievably smart! He sleeps through the night and has since day one. He loves to play and is extremely food driven. He Will do ANYTHING for a treat. I have bells in the door for Christmas and he rings them to go outside, so yes I ordered bells for year round.. He wants to play with our cats but they’re not impressed. I cannot recommend Keith enough for your next full blooded Lab! In fact I have 2 friends that are definitely going to get one soon.
