April 7, 2025 Adam Boyer came out to find out why my 3 month old heat pump outside unit was not running. The system was working perfectly. The problem is the homeowner installed the wrong furnace filters that reduced airflow so the high pressure sensor shut the system down to protect the compressor as designed. The homeowner (me) thought higher filtration is better and was educated by Adam on the adverse affects of starving the airflow. Ken Klouzek

I called on the day after Christmas a holiday and received a return call from Randy within a few minutes to explain the issue with my heating system. May 1, 2024 This time I had an unusual electrical problem in my main circuit panel. I called and spoke to Randy again and explained the issue and he scheduled Chandler and Carson to come look at the issue. I can’t say enough good things about DeSoto Electrical Products. They have come to our rescue more than once. When we recently listed our home for sale, the inspection revealed that our septic aerator was not connected correctly. Since we were pressed for time I called them and they were out the next day to trench a new connection to get it working. Mid December I called to set up a quote for a new unit at our current house. They beat three other contractors for price, service and punctuality. I was informed that a heat pump would be the way to go so that’s what we went with. The installation was quick and professional. We ended up with an issue regarding factory installed wiring and lost heating during the recent ice/snow storm on Sunday. Randy returned my call within a couple of minutes and was at our location within an hour during the ice storm. He quickly got our unit working again. They go above and beyond for service and we will contact them again for our future heating and cooling needs. I would also like to mention that all of the technicians were professional and courteous. I have used DEP, exclusively, for my HVAC system in the 2 houses I've lived in, over the span of probably. ~20 years. I'll call DEP the next 20 years to come. I tend to become a miserable cow when I'm too hot. Especially when my tech is Adam B. He's fantastic at his job. He is always punctual, polite, friendly and efficient. Always going above and beyond to make sure customers understand what is wrong and why it's wrong. As well as making sure the customer has a working system before he leaves. Having a mechanical background and an interest in "how's" and "why's" I like to observe and learn what is going on with my HVAC.
