I have been to more than 6 balloon events and this one is by far the worst one. It was more of a craft fair for vendors to sell their overpriced trinkets and very average food. The venue itself left a lot to be desired in so far as the trees. There were balloons in thes little glens and some packed around the pond for the glow. The flight crews had to navigate around people in chairs to setup the balloons which is dangerous for everyone. Events like this need to be in a large open area so everyone can take it in. Guests should not be permitted in the fields where the flight crews are working. Not a reason in the world to not have a flight on Fridays or Saturday, what were they waiting for, what was fthe concern, weather certainly was not a factor, warm sunny and no wind.

I WILL NOT BE...

Almost everything about this day was great! Had a wonderful time with family and grandkids watching the balloons growing and glowing all around us. The food vendors were great choices, very good food. The live music was so nice to sit and listen to. We were disappointed with how long it took us to get out of the park. It seemed the attendants had no idea what they were doing this year to let people leave in an orderly way. We were in our car in the line already to leave for about 25 minutes when our daughter's family walked past us to get to their car and we called her 20 minutes later and they were already out of the park and we were still sitting in line. It took us a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes to get out of the parking lot. No...

We drove over an hour to get here. We were pretty disappointed. It's really all just a money grab. All craft tents, food stands and advertising. We arrived at 1:00 PM, paid $15 to get in for two adults and a seven year old. $8 for a funnel cake. $1 extra charge for using debit card. Had to park the car in mud and walk a mile to get here. No beer tent, no alcohol at all allowed in here. They have a band, that honestly is kind of annoying. We really wish we would have saved our gas, time and found something else to do. Everybody looks bored here. We have been here about two hours now and we are leaving asap. Do...

We've came here about 3 times over the previous years. This year wasn't as packed as it has been in prior years. We came on a Friday night to watch the balloon glow. It was ok. It cost 5 dollars to park and then another 5 dollars for everyone to get in. We was there about 2 1/2 hours. We left before the balloon glow was done. We managed to get out quickly and on the road before it started to get crowded.

The balloons were awesome but it was so so crowded. And the lines for all the food vendors were the longest 😩. Be sure to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and a portable fan if you have it🙂. Also pets aren't allowed so they have to stay home. Lots of crafts and goodies too.
