My husband and I went on a backpacking trip here and stayed one night. The drive to the trail head is beautiful. The trail itself was honestly disappointing. You are hiking in the sun and surrounded by sage brush for 90% of the trail to the springs. If you are going camping, I would highly suggest stopping at a spot along the trail and not going to the spots at the spring. The spring camping spots were nice enough but very small spaces. The ones along the trail are much better! The springs themselves were awesome! There were multiple pools all at different temps. There were a few naked people around which made me stay away from certain areas. I'm all for expressing yourself in the outdoors but not when there are a ton of people around.... It’s about 5 miles to the Hot Springs with the first 4 really being a breeze but the last mile is where you truly earn it for the Hot Springs at the end. I recommend lots of water and food so once at the hot springs you can eat and relax. To the hot springs usually takes about an hour. Beware if taking children that sometimes people like to really relax by not wearing any clothes but it is more of rare than normal so don’t let that stop you from going on this truly...
