We picked up guillory's. We ordered a large onion rings, and we're very disappointed to find they were very small onion rings and did not appear to be a large size. We paid extra to have the large versus the regular sized onion rings. We also ordered a large shrimp po boy. The shrimp taste like iodine and were not tasty. We also ordered a catfish sandwich on French bread, and it was very small and was not very tasty. We also ordered a large macaroni and cheese, the container was not even filled to the top. It looked like a single scoop inside of a large container. Very disappointed to have spent so much money. Do not waste your time buying this food as it is not worth it. They need to rethink...

We are from out of state and just passing through LA. Made a trip to Saint Bernard SP then stopped here for lunch. Staff was incredible but the food was even better. Roast Beef Poboy for me and Shrimp for my wife. Turned into lunch and other halves for dinner. Got a Muffaleta and had that for dinner the next day. I have tried a few sandwiches around town in the last 3 weeks and this was definitely the top of my list. We also got some bread pudding and OMG is it good!! Got some Pralines too and they just melt in your mouth. So glad we stumbled on this place. We will definitely recommend you to anyone we know that comes to NOLA. God Bless and keep up...

For about six years post Katrina this was the best poboy in Louisiana, making it one of the best on Earth. The shrimp selection has since come into a more common class of everyday poboy. It's a good classic poboy, but no longer the best.

Edit February 2022: Still a very good poboy, not as good as it was before 2007. Now four stars.

Edit June 2024: At $18 I think I have to downgrade this sandwich to "pass." Would still consider the muffaletta. Now...
